Pureis does not give you a “high” and is not addictive. It is not psychoactive.
THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. THC is psychoactive and induces the "high" associated with recreational cannabis usage. Pureis has 0% THC in all products.
Sometimes taking too much of a supplement can be linked to undesired side effects. A review of CBD use reports that if a side effect was to occur, the most commonly reported side effects were tiredness, diarrhoea, and changes in appetite and/or weight.
Due to the minimal evidence of the potential effects on the developing foetus or newborns, CBD is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Due to the minimal evidence of the potential effects on growing children, our safety studies did not assess the suitability of CBD use in children. Therefore, CBD is not recommended in persons under the age of 18.
Yes, CBD is permitted by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency), CBD is not a banned substance. However we recommend you check with your own sporting organisation if CBD is permitted.
If you’ve purchased any of our Pureis Ultra Pure CBD oil products, you may have noticed that sometimes they turn pink. Luckily, there’s no need to be alarmed! When coconut oil, an ingredient in many of our products, is exposed to light and oxygen it can turn a beautiful shade of pink. This colour change is perfectly natural and is proof your coconut oil is of the highest quality, so it is 100% safe to use.
We use coconut oil for a variety of reasons; for example, we know our Pureis Ultra Pure CBD dissolves extremely well in coconut oil, but more importantly, we know that CBD is poorly absorbed orally and, in some cases, only 6% of CBD is absorbed and the remainder is excreted, as reported in the literature. This is known as “first pass metabolism”; CBD is extensively broken down and processed for excretion by the liver. Coconut oil helps Pureis Ultra Pure CBD avoid the first pass metabolism and therefore maximises the effects of Pureis Ultra Pure CBD by allowing you to absorb the correct intake.

Yes, under current European and UK legislation, CBD is legal, providing the THC content is below 0.2%. Pureis has 0% THC levels. We at Pureis love going above and beyond to bring you a product that has the support of clinical safety studies conducted in accordance with food law. This means that you can have complete TRUST in our high quality, fully compliant Pureis CBD products, supported by science. To deliver on our promise, we need to ensure we are free from toxins that can occur naturally in the cannabis plant. The plant source of CBD can contain traces of THC, other cannabinoids, terpenes, heavy metals, pollutants, pesticides, or insecticides. Our Ultra-Pure CBD raw material is free from all these components. Sometimes “natural” doesn’t automatically mean it is safe for you. Unfortunately, today’s regulations allow companies in both categories natural and synthetic to use harmful, disruptive ingredients. Our R&D development team obsessively self-regulates and reviews every single precious ingredient to make sure it is the safest, most efficacious and most synergistic with the entire product line, while staying focused on both internal and external health.
